Natalie is an Account Manager with Bracco Diagnostics Inc. As a pharmaceutical sales rep for a cardiology drug, Natalie calls on clients from the New York City metro area down to Washington, DC. Since the drug is new to market, Natalie describes the grassrooting process to get her product into hospitals.

>> Hi, I'm Natalie Fisher, and I'm an account manager for Bracho Diagnostics. I am a sales representative representing a pharmaceutical used in the cardiology department of hospitals. It's a drug. It's used during an echocardiology procedure. It's actually a microsphere. Busy day could look like going to Long Island. Could look like going to New York City, and then the next could be in Philadelphia and then maybe Washington, D.C. So my product is actually very entrepreneurial. This is a new product in the U.S. market. So it's a grassrooting business development, which is very exciting to me. Sort of, so it's an entrepreneurial type of business development role in the sales role. So it's all of new customers learning about the product. So I will either work with the director of cardiology or the lab manager. We'll talk about the product, talk about the clinical parts of the product, the safety profile, the products, how it interacts with the ultrasound machine, and then we'll work with the pharmacy department and then even with the purchasing department. So there's lots of different aspects of the sales process. Also work with the clinical applications person which talks to the technologist and how to optimize their ultrasound equipment. So there's lots of different stakeholders that I interact with daily.
